Just read a discussion on Linked In by people talking about uploading books to AI… “Are you exporting to PDF from Pressbooks?” was one of the chats. Is there any protection against this kind of stealing? Any ideas for protecting your work so it is accessible to the people who need it, not billionaires who chop it to bits and regurgitate it?
I’ve heard the line “its just training!” but the other day a Google AI summary gave me a large block of verbatim text from something I wrote!
