We’re using the Jacobs theme for a textbook and have noticed that when we use the textbox sidebar, the pdf export of that page displays the numbers in numbered lists on top of those sidebars.
In case this is relevant, I should add that in this situation, we have expanded the default width of textbox sidebars slightly to increase ease of reading.

We’ll look into it and keep you posted.
In the meantime, if you need a quick fix, perhaps increasing the left margin or padding on the lists would help.
