@EDU_Managers Hello! Our combined November+December Pressbooks Product Update will be held THIS THURSDAY, December 5th 2-3pm ET. Due to the holidays, our usual 4th Thursday schedule doesn’t work at the end of the year, so this Thursday will be the final Pressbooks Product Update in 2024.

Featured topics include:

  1. Final Pressbooks Results pilot update (including research results, current and planned improvements, usage data/analytics, and more), and
  2. Preview an open source feature improvement coming soon and contributed by BCcampus, which will make H5P activities visible in PDF exports from Pressbooks.

Please bring roundtable topics and questions you’d like to share with the group. The Zoom meeting link and agenda can be found here: Pressbooks Product Update Agendas.

Hi Julie,
I’m not sure if others are having this issue, but when I click on the google repeat calendar invite, it says that it is only for the date of June 30 2022. Thanks!

It looks like this is a limitation of Google Calendar? Sharing a recurring event link publically isnt creating recurring event in the recipient's calendar - Google Calendar Community. Sorry Lauren (and others). We’re looking into a better way to share the calendar for this recurring event.

This recording includes 1) an update on the Pressbooks Results pilot including student survey highlights and planned improvements; 2) preview of an accessibility-focused community source contribution coming soon via BCcampus which will provide a H5P activity preview in PDFs generated from Pressbooks, and 3) a community roundtable discussion.
