I have been administering an open-source Pressbooks instance for a few years now. Recently, the new H5P including the OER Hub was released. In Moodle and in the H5P.com site, this new hub appears. I am wondering when this will be available in Pressbooks. The interface for the new hub is shown below (from H5P.com).
hello @Isaac_Mulolani . We are also very interested in making the H5P available in Pressbooks. Right now, the limitation is that the H5P Hub has not yet been made available to WordPress-based hub implementations (like ours). Julius Stang, a product manager for the H5P project told us in May that “The work for bringing the OER Hub to the WordPress plugin is scheduled to be next on the list of priorities for us to work on, so we aim to begin that work by next week. If all goes to plan, it will be released as part of our June release.” We haven’t received an update since that time and haven’t heard any new updates. We hope that it will be available soon and are looking forward to testing and making it available to Pressbooks users once it has been released and we’re confident that it will work as expected.
