I’m installing for the first time Pressbooks. Following the instructions, I have seen that I have to install MathJax for Latex Support.
To install MathJax, I have to install nodeJS 10. As NodeJS is EOL and end of security support, can I install another version of nodejs ? Or maybe there is another solution instead of MathJax ?

Hi @njamar great question. We need to update our MathJax service to ensure it supports a more recent version of Node (currently in our product backlog). You can try running it on a later version of Node if you don’t want to wait for us to get to that update (coming soon, i hope). Another option is to use the WP QuickLaTeX plugin: WP QuickLaTeX – WordPress plugin | WordPress.org
