I have a problem using an H5P element created from a WordPress website inside my new installation of Pressbooks (open source). My PB installation uses WP 7.0.3, PHP 8.3, Pressbooks 6.45.0 and H5P 1.17.9. The error I get when uploading my content is:
So, my question is when will Pressbooks update to this version 1.28 mentioned in the message? I posted here in the community about this a few months ago. I still have this same problem with some of my h5p elements. The specific element from the screenshot makes use of the Tabs and was created in eCampusOntario’s Pressbooks instance.

The latest release (which was release 2 weeks ago) is 1.17.9
I had a similar issue (error) in Moodle at the start of the year. Then the Moodle folks provide a package update (see A Fresh Look for Open Source H5P: February 2026 | H5P and https://moodle.org/mod/forum/discuss.php?d=473262&parent=1896914). They created and released a particular package which when installed caused those issues to go away. I have the current package 1.17.9 installed in my Pressbooks but that is not the problem. It is the H5P core api version 1.28 that seems to be missing. My Moodle installation also uses the newer H5P hub that was released earlier this year. I posted messages to this community about this error earlier this year when the issue was evident on my other Pressbooks instance.

It seems to me that we need this core for WordPress/Pressbooks. I also have WordPress sites and they still do not have the new H5P hub in them. Are these two issues related?
