Formatting and alignment breaks after adjusting image size

Hi,

Wondering what thoughts/experience anyone might having with formatting and alignment breaking?

I’m supporting the creation of an artist’s book which, as you’d expect, is really image heavy.

Any time the author adjusts the sizing/scale of an image that is already inserted into a chapter, the alignment breaks at that specific point. Part of the chapter before the edited image is center aligned in the vw, and everything following the adjusted image veers oddly left aligned.

I see nothing in the code and there’s no formatting to remove. I’ve cloned the book, and copy and pasted content, and I cannot replicate the issue.

It’s possible to avoid this by fully deleting images and adding them to the media library with the new specified size but, as you’d imagine, this is a lot of images to remove and re-insert.

Why would this happen? Is there a way to fix this/stop this from happening in the first place?

Figured this out - some reason an extra tag, which was placing content out of the chapter tags.

Hi there, I’m glad you were able to figure it out. I’ve marked your response as “Solution” so everyone can quickly see that this question has been resolved.
