Downloading an ePUB and exporting it

These are the four (4) errors I am getting. Since it was created in Pressbooks, why are there errors exporting it to Apple Book via Draft2Digital?

OPF file?
ePUB container?

I don’t write code. The software should be “self-repairing.” What an idea!

Here’s what Apple Support send me but it is of no help:

"You encountered these upload errors because there is a file in the EPUB that is not listed in the OPF.

To fix this upload error, make sure that everything in the EPUB is contained in the OPF and vice versa. Also, make sure that you validate the EPUB. Use an EPUB validation app to verify your EPUB is compliant with the EPUB standard. Learn more about book validation.

Learn more about using EpubCheck to validate your EPUBs.

If the EPUB was created using a third-party service or application, you’ll need to work with their support team to repair the file."

Hi @drjseitzpc these EPUB export errors can be frustrating to figure out and resolve, even for those of us who have been working for Pressbooks for years. Here’s our guide chapter with some resources that may help you figure out how to find and fix your OPF and RSC errors: https://guide.pressbooks.com/chapter/fix-validation-errors/. We can try to help you figure out what’s going wrong as well. Can you share a link to the book URL where you’re running into these problems?

The link to the “fix validation errors” opens info about some insightful things that I’ve never seen before for analyzing cryptic EPUBcheck errors – something I’d given up on fixing and so didn’t continue with my D2D publishing. I just might try again. Thanx!

Thanks! Thanks! Thanks!
