We have an author on campus who would like to include Traditional Knowledge (TK) labels in their text alongside the CC license. I don’t see an obvious place to put this, but would like to see if there are best practices or recommendations for this.

My hunch is that there are three good places to put the TK label or make note of it:
- Book description - This is shown on the landing page beneath the title and authors, and above the CC license (but does not allow embedded images)
- Copyright notice - This is shown in the footer of the web book (again, does not allow images)
- Front matter - You can create a page that is specific to the TK labels you wish to use, and include it in the front matter
