I’m trying to create anchors so I can have an endnote that jumps to the endnote section, and then anchor back to the sentence where the endnote is. If I anchor to a “pre-made” anchor like back matter or a chapter this works fine in both the web version and pdf export. But, if I try to make my own anchor to a specific spot it will only work in the web version, in the pdf it will look like a link (blue and underlined) but is unclickable.
@knmccaffrey you should be able to use our built in ‘footnote’ feature – if you want them to display in your exports as ‘endnotes’ just select that option from theme options. See Add Footnotes or Chapter Endnotes – Pressbooks User Guide for details.
