We wouldn’t want to use this, is it doesn’t work properly if caching is enabled. From the readme:
Please note that in certain setups caching will cause undesired behaviour. If your cache is set too aggressively PHP will be skipped and the device detection will not work.
Caching is an important part of running Pressbooks at scale. Progressive enhancement with feature detection and responsive design are the best tools to handle differences between platforms.
