I have an Intro and 5 chapters. I somehow lost “Status and Visibility” box for all 5 chapters so cannot save edits. I still have it for the Introductory text. For the chapters for which the box is missing, The User Guide says to look down the column since I may have inadvertently moved it from the default position. Not there. How I can I restore that box?
Hi @Jimy there are two things to try:
First – click the ‘screen options’ button at the top right of the page to expand. You should see a series of check boxes and the following instructions: “Some screen elements can be shown or hidden by using the checkboxes. Expand or collapse the elements by clicking on their headings, and arrange them by dragging their headings or by clicking on the up and down arrows.”. Make sure that the ‘Status and Visibility’ box is selected:
I’d also recommend choosing the 2 column layout. If the box is ticked and you have selected 2 column layout but still don’t see it in the expected position, then try step 2:
Second, scroll down the page looking carefully for the box titled ‘Status and Visibility’ (or press Ctrl + F and search). Once you find it, you should be able to click and drag it to reposition it in your preferred location.
