Hello,

I just wanted to know where the source code of a book is stored? I guess it’s an html?

Thanks,
Noémie

In other words, I want to access the source code of all the book (not just part by part) using the file system (or db?). Do you have any idea?

Hi @njamar Pressbooks is built on WordPress multisite. The content of all of your books will be stored in the WordPress database – look for tables which follow this pattern: `wp_##_posts `where ## is the site ID of the book you’re looking for. Pressbooks also features an API that allows you to query the content of public books. You can learn more about the API at [REST API - Pressbooks](https://pressbooks.org/dev-guides/rest-api/) or Ned’s old post announcing it’s creation in 2018: [An API for Open Educational Resources (OER)](https://pressbooks.community/t/an-api-for-open-educational-resources-oer/4256)
