The webmaster created the web version of the book, but now we need a PDF version to submit to our funding agency, which sponsors the book, and to Bowker and Zenodo to obtain an ISBN and DOI. Since it was a custom theme, we cannot extract a readable and formatted PDF. What should we do? Should we create a separate version using the existing Pressbook Theme?

Hi Olga,

Welcome to the community forum! When you say custom theme, are you talking about Custom Styles in the Appearance tab? The custom styles can be applied to the Web book, the eBook or the PDF. I don’t think you would need to create a separate version if the custom styles are only applied to the web book. Or perhaps extract the PDF before you apply the custom styles?
