This category is for people who handle DevOps and server management for open source installations of Pressbooks.

Pressbooks is free and open source software and can be self hosted on a server you control. If you intend to self-host a Pressbooks network, please see our [instructions for manual installation](https://pressbooks.org/user-guides/installation/). We strongly recommend using Bedrock and Composer to manage plugins and other dependencies. You may want to fork our [sample Bedrock repository](https://github.com/pressbooks/pressbooksoss-bedrock) as a starting point.
